Building with T&C Homes usually involves a number of clearly defined steps. Our friendly and experienced staff is ready to work with you to help make the home of your dreams a reality.

One: Getting to know you
At the initial meeting, we will discuss your wants, needs and options with you in detail, so you can get the best possible advice. We will also explain every part of the process, from financing to permits to getting your site ready, so there will be no surprises!

Two: You choose your home
We offer a wide selection of pre-designed plans with a variety of optional layouts, elevations and features. We can help you customize any of our plans. You can also bring in your own plans, or if you prefer, we can start from scratch.

Three: You select the finishes
Once you have decided on the overall design of your home, you are ready to choose the flooring, siding, shingles, cabinetry, colours, finishes and accessories you want. For many of our home buyers, this is one of the most exciting aspects of home buying. We offer a superb selection of top-quality products from leading-brand name manufacturers, and your builder will give you as much assistance as you like in creating the look that truly reflects you and your lifestyle.

When your selection is completed, we will work out the final price of your home and put it all in writing. You'll know exactly how much your home will cost, down to the last dollar, before construction starts.

Four: The home is built while your site is being prepared
Once all the decisions are made and the paperwork is complete the land work can begin. We will assist in all aspects of land preparation as required. We will meet with your excavation contractor and arrange for the foundation to be put in, and the well and septic/water and sewer lines will be installed...whatever is required. We have the experience, the knowledge and the network of professionals to look after the work for you. We will also provide you with sound advice if you want to take an active role in the site work yourself.

Five: The home is brought to your site and completed
It typically takes a one or two days to set a home on the foundation. It may take two to four weeks to complete the site work, depending on the size, style and features of your home. Site work usually includes finishing touches inside and out, hooking up to services and doing the things that are best done on site, such as porches, customized flooring, etc. Once your home is ready, we will do a customer orientation tour of the home with you to make sure everything is completed according to plan and that you know exactly how everything works.

Six: You move in and enjoy your new home
